The purpose of this announcement is to provide updated safety information regarding the safe handling and transport of the Intellisense^® Battery for Powerheart^® Automated External Defibrillators.

Our branded batteries are of the lithium metal chemistry and are classified as dangerous goods, also known as hazardous materials in the United States. When our AEDs and/or replacement batteries are shipped, they are generally subject to transport regulations depending on the transportation mode.
